In the town of Torrevieja, the last weekend of summer signals the end of life in the city. Houses shut their windows behind closed shutters, restaurants close until Christmas and as the following week emerges, the streets are empty. On the final night out, what is left behind is as drab as the realisation that the season is coming to an end.
